Architect, design & produce various user experiences and media including site maps, static and clickable wireframes and prototypes, workflows, interfaces, feature lists, websites, heuristic evaluations, brochures, books, corporate identities, and ads. Services also include facilitating formal user testing, photography, copywriting and editing. SPECIFIC HIGHLIGHTS

Verizon

Help shape and facilitate a new mobile product design as UX lead in the Innovation Department. Create complex Axure prototypes both for selling the idea and for user testing. Develop creative brief, personas, workflows, roadmaps, sitemaps, wireframes and content docs for android devices in an Agile environment. Facilitate and observe formal user testing and work with clients for the pilot phase. This cutting edge product involves both WebRTC and telephony for android devices and entailed working closely with a team both domestic and offshore

 

Tracy Locke

Craft the user experience for Samsungs Partner Portal and the registration process for new users, for migrating users from the old portal and for users with existing logins from another Samsung portal. Also responsible for creating the portal reporting analytics for consumption by multiple levels of users. Create sitemap and clickable prototypes.
 

Rockfish Interactive

Identify customer segments and create detailed personas for Valvoline. Tasked with rethinking P&G’s outdated internal help SharePoint site to drive use of self-help instead of one-on-one help. Create site map and clickable responsive wireframes in an extremely abbreviated timeline to complete by fiscal year end.
 

AdvoCare 

Develop feature list, site maps, wireframes and design directive for this direct sales companys site and shopping cart redesign. Gather information from department heads (via personal interviews) and independent distributors (via survey and information request) to discover states. Feature list includes developmental phases, technical requirements, and CMS needs. UX requires multiple levels of users: consumer, distributor, elite distributor, and corporate. IA requires seamless integration between a public facing site, a password-protected site and individual representatives' personalized microsites.

Develop standards for 3Ms universal online corporate presence and design 3Ms ecommerce site. Produce a complete corporate online design standards document. Position requires a careful balance of the design needs of extremely disparate corporate divisions and the skillful steering of marathon meetings with high-level 3M representatives.

A critical contributor to the digital experience of 44,000+ international users for this non-profit organization connecting successful CEOs around the world. Create seamless and innovative experiences between multiple applications for a dynamic and evolving private social engagement site, both online and mobile in an Agile environment. Diplomacy and collaboration are key skills in this role within a highly charged environment of type-A personalities, as is sensitivity to international and cultural differences. Lead a team of three and work closely with business owners, members, and marketing and IT professionals.

SPECIFIC HIGHLIGHTS

T.G.I. Fridays 
Integral part of team launching a new direction for this popular dining establishment. Assignment includes a complete site redesign and an integrated mobile application. This client utilizes numerous third party providers, so accommodating requirements for each was imperative.

 

Pier1 Imports 
Lay the groundwork to launch this retailer's first eCommerce site. Preparation included extensive competitive analyses and strategic recommendations.

 

HomeDepot 
Design working prototype for an initiative to display projects and assets that can be completed with HomeDepot’s help. Named “Pegboard,” it is a Pinterest-style filtering mechanism with a HomeDepot spin. In addition, create wireframes and prototypes for multiple seasonal Facebook initiatives.

August 2010 - April 2011

Architect online experiences, websites, Facebook applications, iPhone applications, and iPad applications. Create site map, wireframes, workflows, heuristic evaluations and competitive analyses and participate in brainstorms and business development pitches. Consult with Designers, Creative Directors, Strategists and Technologists. Clients include American Greetings, Sam’s Club, Walmart, USAA, AT&T, US Playing Cards, Oppenheimer, The Cooper Institute, Chamberlain School of Nursing, United Health Group, White Cloud and Walton Family Foundation.

USAA / AT&T
Lead the online development supporting a prototype program for a device that monitors teen driving habits. Create user experience for the front end and also vital to developing the device reporting specifications.

 

Sam's Club
Create numerous microsites for initiatives to support Members. Microsites must work against a separate client development team for the main site to create seamless user experiences while supporting the main brand messaging.
 

US Playing Cards
Develop the Facebook presence for Bicycle Playing Cards. Bicycle enjoys four distinct and passionate audiences with very different needs, and the Facebook presence had to support each, as well as take advantage of the resources available on the US Playing Card website.

August 2007 - May 2010

Architect online experiences, websites, Facebook applications, online communities, and iPhone applications for various clients, including Blockbuster, GSK (alli), Procter & Gamble (Iams, Eukanuba, and Secret), PizzaHut, Freeman, GameStop, the Art Institutes, and others. Concept and create site maps, wireframes, workflows, interfaces, user experience maps, and competitive analyses. Actively participate in brainstorming and business development pitches. Act as bridge between groups, including Strategy, Creative, and Tech.
 

SPECIFIC HIGHLIGHTS

GSK's alli
Dedicated Information Architect to GSK's alli brand. Responsible for all aspects of the award-winning alli user experience and initiatives, including spearheading a social networking site which adheres to strict legal requirements regulating open communication and cited by Forrester as best in class. Work with partner agencies to develop satisfactory solutions to mutual initiatives, including launching Wynonna Judd as spokesperson. Also integral to launching a quick start program and a maintenance program for this very complex BSP. My work on alli won two Gold Horizon Awards, was a finalist for the Sharing Groundswell Award, and won the imc2 Innovation Award.
 

PizzaHut
Develop site map and wireframes of the award-winning iPhone app for quick pizza ordering and completed the redesign of the architecture of the online ecommerce experience.

 

Secret 
Create a Facebook application to support the uber athlete initiative featuring Olympians Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin. Also create information architecture for several additional initiatives, including the award-winning Sleeveless Summer product selector.

2000 - 2002

Create public-facing sites to intersect with an existing investment platform for startup investment company.  Concept, design & produce information architecture, website, logo, corporate identity, brochures, posters, presentations, and client and investor relations. Responsible for all facets of the company’s public persona.

1998 - 1999

Concept, architect, design and produce technologically cutting-edge online programs for startup Internet media company. Responsible for features, usability, information architecture and upgrade schedule. Manage a team of designers and work closely with technologists to develop fast, functional and attractive programs. Flagship was customized web-based email for radio stations utilized by 500 of the largest stations in the nation. Project designed so that production of each site is fully automated.

 

Senior Art Director | imc2 | Dallas, Texas

1996 - 1998

Manage, architect, concept, design, write, edit, and produce Internet and Intranet websites and ads for Fortune 100 companies, including Campbell Soup Company, Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry, Pepperidge Farm Gifts, Chunky Soup, P&G’s Dryel product launch, ABC's Monday Night Football and iMC2’s own site, among others. Meet with both prospects and clients to understand objectives and pitch ideas. Identify end-user and concept features attractive to target demographic. Create comprehensive feature lists, site maps and rudimentary wireframes. Hire and supervise the team of 7 designers and partially supervise team of 6 programmers. As team leader, integral in growing this interactive company from 3 to over 24 in less than a year, achieving an Adweek company ranking of 44th in the nation.
